Sounds Like?

Just a humorous little incident that happened to me recently.
After many weeks of beautification work on my XS "F" I got down to tryin to chase up some of the more serious stuff, I was really excited to find a short can muffler that suited the look of the bike!
However the excitement was soon shattered after a couple of my work mates asked what I had done to it, I told them that I had fitted a proper muffler to it (instead of the Hot Dog car muffler that was on it when purchased) their response??????????


They thought it sounded like a "Jap" bike and I should put the car muffler back on!...

There is no pleasing some...huh?

I for one am quite proud to proclaim that my XS DOES NOT sound like the run of the mill cruiser...... especially a HD. I like being able to turn heads knowing the person is not just looking to see what is making all the noise. I much prefer knowing someone is thinking.... "Hey.... you don't see one of THOSE every day".
