Hey Paul congrats on finding an XS1100!! and congrats on finding the most increible source of knowledge and fun on the net!!

Post your questions and I can assure you will get answers, and most of them will be right!

Also, if you can post pictures it will be very helpful, and enjoyable for the rest of the group, we're a visual bunch!

If you put your location in your profile it shows up by your signature and helps other here know if they might be close enough to lend you a hand if you need it. Also, the specific year and model is very crucial at times to knowing what might be needed, so put that in your signature and others will have a much easier time helping you cure what might ail the machine.
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.

Ye Sir, you did it right!!

Paul, I'm relatively new myself, and let me tell you, you couldn't have found a better bunch of folks to fall in with!!! The Guru's here possess soooo much knowledge on these machines, if you take time to look and search you will find a lot of your answers to questions have been already posted. I too am still learning here and will most definitely be learning for sometime to come!! Probably the most important thing, respect others and they will definitely respect you in return. I just can't say enough for the folks I've interacted with, they are all super!!! Last but not least...Welcome to the site, from this humble student of the XS.......scott

                Ya got it right.

Does this mean I'll have someone to ride with the next time I do the Spiral Highway?

(I'll be making a video of it as well...)

                      Welcome.

Hey! how about that, someone from the old home town, I hit there several times during the summer to visit my parents and friends. Welcome to the site and maybe we'll can get together some time. Larrym, The next time you ride the Lewiston hill, ride up the Clearwater and ride the Grear Grade, it's about 10 miles past Orofino, now that's the one to ride, curves so tight you can read your own license plate. I've ran that hill for the past 40 years and it still leaves me breathless. In fact, it's in my will to spread my ashes there when I die. Sorry Paul. I didn't mean to steal your thread, but if you've ever ridden that hill you know what I'm talking about, and if you haven't you should next chance you get.
