I just sent my donation, and it accepted the addressee just fine. Remember you need to type in 2 "zz's" in the send slot.

TIP: Please select the type of transaction as PERSONAL and GIFT, and PayPal will NOT deduct any fees like they normally would for a purchase!

I did use personal and gift.I also just copy and pasted the address Wildkat posted and then just changed the (at) to @.It says it was submitted,just that it is unclaimed.Does that mean the money can still go through?

I believe the receiving party has to accept the payment. Not sur eas I have never sold anything onyl bought things. But had that happen with a Circuit City purchase, CC did not think the payment was successful and paypal was waitign for them to take it. Just sat there like that for a month if has fallen off yet.

Didn't circuit city go out of business there,it did here.

I will just check paypal again tomorrow.Whomever is handling the donations will probably have to ok the transactions I guess.

Rick, they are only internet store now. We ordered my daughter a blackberry phone online from them. It finally fell off as of now, but I know it took every bit of 30 days sitting there even after I called and told them to pull it and they told me it owuld be gone in a few days.

Tonight I finally got a chance to talk to Terri without several other prying ears in presence. I told her about the donation account, and she said "What's Paypal?"

Anyway, her children are there with her and can help her get set up.

If you could all just be patient, it is appreciated.

FWIW, Terri was in tears when she heard that this many people are concerned for her. I don't think I will ever be able to say thanks enough either. You guys are truly the pinnacle of humanity.

may i suggest ivan when she is ready that u show her just all who are concerned for her and her family. i think she would enjoy to read what has been said about lee and all concerns.

Call me computer illiterate... or just kinda slow on some days... but I don't know how to use PayPal for this. So, I sent a note last week to the trainzzfund e-mail account assuming that it was being monitored and some kind soul would clue me in. If someone wants to let me know how to go about using PayPal for making a donation, I would be grateful. Many thanks.

I never met Lee and know very few of the members face to face. I am close friends with a longtime GURU who isn't online much these days and I am a fairly silent member although a very active reader. I was surprised at how much Lee's death touched me.

As a widow from my late 40's myself, I can only say that I know the journey Terri is about to embark upon. It ain't easy. My sincere condolences. Good friends and family are gold.

Hey Meri,
You have to have a paypal account to send funds that way.If you have an account,just go to the paypal web site and then go to your account page.
Then click the send money tab.It will have several options.You want to select gift.All you need is the email address (i.e.-tranizzfund@hotmail.com).

If you don't have a paypal account theeasiest way to pay is by mail.
