        Amen to that Brother

Weather is getting good down here as well (high teens) got the XJR registered three weeks ago and ready to play Only downside is this is a long weekend and NSW does the double demerit points thing

                Road Music

                Bryan,

Looks great. I like the way you added music to the video. The previous stuff (seen a lot of your vids on you tube....) just had the original audio from the camera. I did that too and got way too much wind noise from the camera microphone. The wind noise gets bothersome after a while but I wanted to hear the sound of the engine as it revved up and down through the gears. I find that I'm missing that sound in your latest vids.

                Here's a vid of a camera test I did:

                http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swZZkLE_ib0

The audio still isn't what I'd like it to be. Still picking up way too much "unpalatable" noise. The next step I'm going to be trying is to take a separate digital audio recorder and place it near the intake of the airbox. It should get some interesting audio to synch up to the videos I'll be making.

Here's a video that I made which l had unusable audio which I replaced with audio from another recorder strapped to the back of the sissy bar/seat:

                http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbI59HVzr2Q

I used the sound of the horn as a "marker" to synch up the audio with the video.

I've got a video I'd like to make which has the sound of the engine along with some music. I've had problems uploading the videos to you tube. The site kicks the video back to me saying that I can't use the copyrighted music. Don't know how you did it but congrats!

points? is that like the drivers license points we had in nebraska, once you loose 12 you loose the license?

Fines like this, and double demerits ?? Man, you guys have got it tough.

We get 100 points and lose them 10 at a time for up to 10k over the limit, 20 for between 10 and 20k over, 35 for between 20 and 30k, 40 for between 30 and 35k over and 50 for more than 35k over. If we score 100 within 2 years we lose our licence for 3 months. They live for two years from date of issue.

                      That's the one

Ivan, 12 points and our lost points stay that way for three years Brian, that sign is for truck drivers (me). Get caught downhill racing at 45 over the limit used to be $750 plus 6 months loss of licence on the spot (park truck and walk home) then go to court and wear more fines and longer disqualification.
I have to be careful, have until midnight on the 15th Oct to go on 12 months of not allowed in Victoria from going bit quick on bike (168k, 104m) and then go back with only 6 points to play with. Lose them and will be pedestrian for 3 months, as is have been able to drive everywhere except Vic.
Sounds like your system works like ours, just more points to start with and lose more per offence, we do 1 for up to 10k's (6mph) over and go up from there. That's without Bull**** fines for not filling in logbook or misspelling place names
And the states here compare notes on traffic offences, Vic suspended me and told NSW (live in ALBURY NSW on border with Vic), NSW sent letter telling me only 3 points left, oops.
