The easiest way (for me) to e-mail a pic like that is to save it to the desktop (so that it's easy to find)
You should be able to right click on the pic from there and it should give you an e-mail option (Send to...then click on e-mail recipient) put in their e-mail address and send it on its way.

If you are using an e-mail such as Hotmail... you send it as an attachment following their directions...

    Hope that helps...

      p.s. i have a digital camera [ i do know i need that]

Should be instructions/cable that came with camera to link your camera and PC. If not you can get a USB card reader and cable (relatively inexpensive) from your local computer store to do so. Check documentation that came with camera.

Once camera or card reader is attached you are ready to down load it’s pics.
Saving to the desk top works but will become cluttered if you do more than a few.
I recommend saving pics to “My Pictures” in windows. Better yet, make sub folders in “My Pictures” for the different categories of pics you take, like one named XS. ((Can make as many sub folders (sub directories) as desired))

BTW, this involves opening windows explorer and locating the directory “My Pictures” and then click once on it to high light it, then at top left click on file, then click "new folder". New folder will then appear under “My Pictures”. Right click it and chose rename. Type in whatever name you want.

While windows explorer is open it should show the camera or card reader as a folder.
Click it once and it should show a list of your pics to the right of the directory tree or may show sub folders. (If sub folders click once on em to show there contents as above)

To copy one picture from camera/card reader, place mouse pointer over it and press and hold the right mouse button, then “drag and drop” into the folder you want to store pic in.

To copy all pics from the camera/reader, hold shift key and click the bottom or last pic to copy, all will then be high lighted and you can then right click/hold, drag and drop them all into the folder you want. Several variations on selecting pics/files but this is the basics.

You can now close windows explorer and start your email program, create your email, then click on attachments which should allow you to chose “browse” which when clicked should open a windows explorer type window. Find your file, click it once, then chose OK or what ever your particular email program uses to acquire the file. Then send.

Note, camera settings vary and large pic files can be a problem for some to open/view or receive.
640 X 480 size pics can normally be opened/viewed by any PC, even old ones while if your interested in printing the pics larger files are better.
