But only 100 of them were made. Not sure if he sold out or not, but I am fairly certain he did.

              Hey RocknRoll,

Folks are correct in that "we" already had a couple made, first Ralph and Wayne got together and made a batch of 100 that sold out.

Then I contacted YAMAHA Corp and got the actual copyright permits to utilize the Yamaha name/tuning forks and XS Eleven Logos, but again was only permitted to have 100 made..this was for the 78E model.

I still have 5...FIVE left, just sold a few here at the XS rally I'm attending here in Suches, Ga.

I will not be able to mail them out till Tuesday since I won't get home till late Monday pm. They will be 1st come, 1st PAID, 1st served via my paypal....
topcatgr(at)cox.net REPLACE (at) with @ of course.

I think though that you were talking about having a NEW 30th patch made for the 80 model for this coming year. HAVE FUN......

Patch makers require authentic copyright permissions from YAMAHA before they can incorporate any brand/model names or LOGOs into patches! Yamaha limited the run to 100, and also required that NO PROFIT could be generated, only what it cost to make and ship them to buyers!

It's a bit of a PITA, but if you want to, go ahead!

You might want to look up the "other 30th anniversary patch" thread in the Member's Lounge for info, examples about what can be done with Patch/embroidered process vs. WOVEN patches with regards to image details, etc!

I would be willing to do the work and getting the permissions if there is enough interest in this.
