                Fantastic!

I know you've been looking forward to getting out of NJ for quite some time.

Best of luck, Ben. I hope that everything works out for you.

Question for you though... does that put you closer to us? further away? or, about the same?

Thanks Ron...in my heart I've always been close to my brothers and sisters north of the border...distance wise its alot further and warmer climate too...but like some people here distance is something to be done to get to where your friends are...I'll have to get a longer distance touring bike and save the XJ for the local rides...no biggie... I have made alot of friends here in the Northeast...many on m/c forums like this one,so it is regretable that I have to leave them here...Once we get going though there wont be any lookin' back. My daddy always said that...you know you live in the moment and stop living in the past...and he would not like speculation on the future..."what if" either.

                      Good move

I think you'll like NC Ben. I've been there visiting a few times and I found the weather and the folks very agreeable. Far less intense than NJ. Just go with the flow. Best of luck, Rick.

strong winds? no worse than anywhere else... why you have it worse in that dept...we wont be near the coast and wet days?...dunno if you noticed how much of a washout our summer here in NJ has been...besides the only climate I am really concerned with is the economic one. And that beats NJ by a longshot...in fact it was jst reported in the news that the unemployment rate here is at a 33 year high...time to go
