  • Thinking of painting the XS

My first poll, hope I did it right :P

What color would you choose? The general color, not nessissarily the exact shade.

I'm kinda leaning twards the green myself. Maybe a nice forest green or something. Just thought I'd toss this out there and see what other people think.

          Black

I really like black. I painted mine a black metalic a newer chrysler color. I think all the colors look nice but a clean deep gloss black is hard to beat.

Little Mo is Black metalic (blue flakes). Don't know if that was the OEM color but it is kinda cool!

I voted for the darker blue but the red looks good to.

Color is too personal!! Paint it the color that makes YOU happy!!! For a "sport" look like you posted, I like the color change paint, black to purple/blue. or maybe a black with different color metal flakes in it.

Mine is an Italian olive green. I chose not to buff it out but to keep it a flat shade. Was thinkin of painting a black racin stripe down the top of the tank.

Too many years riding Britbikes had gotten me into the mindset that there were only two choices:-
                          1) Black with gold pinstripes.
                          2) Those other colours that damn fools painted their bikes.
But then I painted my sons bikes a bright yellow and they didn't look half bad so I thought just mebbe I'd do that on my XS11.
But that spring everyone brought out new bikes in a bright yellow and I didn't want to be thought of as a crowd-follower.
That's how my rig ended up Astro Towtruck Orange.
Does this mean I have gained wisdom as I have gotten older or have I become a damn fool?

                              Color

Green sounds ok, but I really like red. Of course mine is
                              factory black...oh well.
