Reminds me of when my brother went down on his Sportster... Was traveling about 70+, popped over a hill to find a bunch of construction barrels in his lane and couldn't get turned fast enough... He was wearing jeans, boots, and a tank top... His helmet was strapped to his saddle bag. When I got there the EMS,Fire, and PD were on scene, he had a bunch of road rash, but nothing major.
One of the EMTs said: I just got a bike, at least now I know how BAD it can get...
I told him: If you think THIS is HOW BAD it can get, you need to get rid of your bike NOW, before you ride it another mile! This is nothing! Go get on youtube and look up bike wrecks, then after watching a couple hours worth of video, decide if you want to continue riding or not...

Thing is you can search and find just as many grisly shots of people in car accidents, getting run over by busses, airplane crashes etc etc.

Especially the shot of the rider standing over the grave.


I don't want to have to do that again.
