OK thanks to TC who was gracious to help me with a disc the computer is working again.Actually had replaced the power supply back in July 2008 and when i moved the connector on the hard drive was loose.2 weeks ago when i was using IM on yahoo, the computer started to freeze up.A friend at work suggested that i reinstall windows again. That's when the problems started. When i looked inside the machine i saw that the connector for the hard drive had come off and hooked up what i thought was the correct connector-wrong-it was not!So when i put the restore disk in the DVD player would not work.It would work when it wanted to and the restore disk would only work part way and then stop.Removing the cover and attaching the right connector i was able to install a copy that TC had provided. My only question is-Linux is installed in my other computer-how do i remove it instead of running the restore disc that came with that system?
