    Odds are the one thing you over looked will break.

    But seriously folks, a full service and check all the motor mount and suspension bolts for tightness.

    I’m rather through on a full service and I include replacing the break fluid and flushing the entire hydraulic brake system. I also change fork oil on a service. I think replacing the fork oil regularly makes the seals last longer. Also change the rear and middle drive oil. Lube all the cables and check them for frayed ends. I’ve never carried spare cables but I’ve known may people that do.

    It never hurts to carry a tool kit beyond the crappy tools that came with the bike. I think the only useful tool in the factory tool kit is the dipstick for checking the middle and final drive oil. It also doesn’t hurt to carry a small pack of nuts and bolts. These things don’t take up much space and can really save the day.
