How many XS1100s were produced over the years? Is there any way to find out? Thanks in advance.

There is a thread from a few months ago where members here were listing their Serial numbers in an effort to see how high they went. Migt look to see if you can dig that up in a search. However, the actual serial number is not necessarily a guarantee that all the bikes were made in numerical order. I know Vetter skipped around (self-admittedly) on his serial numbers to make it more difficult to determine how many parts were made. Dunno if Yamaha did anything like that.1980 XS850SG - Sold
