  • Sad day in Boston Radio

Today is the last day for WBCN Radio in Boston. As of midnite tonight the radio station will be no longer, Thanks CBS Radio . WBCN has been here for 40 years. Peter Wolf of the J. Geils Band was even a DJ for them back in the late 60s. WBCN has been a rock and roll staple of the Boston area. U2 became popular here in the states cause of WBCN. If any of you care to take a listen you can hear them at http://www.wbcn.com . Take a listen from 11pm till midnite for thier final good bye.

CBS Radio has decided to make WBCN a internet and HD radio staion only. Which means no more local DJs. The DJs that WBCN has are the some of the only ones that really know music and know what they are talking about. Especially when in comes to local bands.

    So Good bye WBCN.
