I've seen several posts recently from new members that are just getting started wrenching and don't yet have the required tools. I saw this ad for a 263 piece tool set with a metal box - on sale for $129. Northern Tool has an excellent reputation, and this looks like a good starter set for the tool-less. I thought I would pass it along.

I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

no 1/4" drive ratchet though Guess you have to use the 3/8" with the adaptor. Still one heck of a nice rack for $130.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

I particularly like the drawer organizers - a place for everything, and everything in it's place. I keep all my sockets organized on racks, and there have been a number of times I found sockets laying at the bottom of the driveway after seeing an empty spot on a rack. I wouldn't have known they were missing until after the street sweeper got 'em if I hadn't had them organized to begin with, so I like that feature on this set. Looks like a decent box too.
Gotta agree with you on the 1/4" drive ratchet - that's the tool I use the most. But then it's taken me over 30 years to accumulate my tools. I went for a lot of years with only 3/8" drive ratchets, and while they aren't always as elegant as 1/4" drives, they will turn a bolt. A 1/4" drive ratchet would probably be the first addition I would make to this set, along with a good set of 1/4" wobble extensions and a digital multimeter. Besides, collecting tools isn't just something you do - it's a life style .I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.
