Just got back from port Dover.... If no one has ever heard of it ... it is like a Daytona Beach for one day. Tons of Cops tons of bikes. The cops shut down the streets for just the bikes. The only way you can get pass the check point is if you can show you live in the town (with a car) or you are riding a bike, or a trike.
Just parking the bike, looked across the street and saw another XS11 E pulling in. Chatted up some generalities, told him about the site. He said he thought he had been on once or twice looking.
Then as we were getting ready to leave another guy came over and started talking to me about my bike. As it turns out he has a XS11 but it is a 1980. He was telling me how hard it is to get parts. I asked him if he had heard about the site here and he said no. I still find it strange that they have a bike and haven't gone to the web to find help.
Ok that's it ....
