  • Motorcylce endorsement. FINALLY!

finally drug my ass in to get my motorcycle license today. Having been riding for the last year I didn't have too much trouble, even though my XS was bigger than most bikes there by no less than 300 cc.

One guy dumped his 200 (or 250?) cc dirt bike completely on the side, another guy had a new honda shadow he nearly dumped (i'm pretty sure he banged up his exhaust) another guy had a midnight special and nearly laid it on the side.

Are all midnight special's 1100s? his was a 4 cylinder but looked smaller. no disk brake in back and I didn't get a good look but I think it only had a single brake in front. clutch cable also connected in a different spot. He told me it was an '82.

47 years riding and still learning, does that make me a slow learner?

          that would be it!

the only thing that made me think was an 1100 was that it had 4 cyls. I thought I had seen a 3 cyl 800cc version. I hadn't known about the 650s.
