  • Two Very Bad Weeks...

Well as some of you already know, I have rabies..... SUCKS
Well I finally got the shots last friday on the 31st and it was bad. After that I went to sleep for a couple of ours to wake up and it being five o clock and I had to move all of my stuff out of my apartment to the new one...

SO, I call a couple of buddies and loaded everything up on the trailer in trash bags and headed off to the new place. After all that was done, we deciede to celebrate and do a little illegal muddin'. Anyways, its 11 at night on a friday and my car is covered in mud and one of my headlights are out. So I was driving home and my buddy wanted to race and I said no and out of no where a FREAKIN COP pulls me over...

The next thing I know, Im getting cuffed and put into the back of a squad car to go to JAIL

Now listien, Im a 20 yr old white punk that is not that big and never been to jail... Pretty scary
I ended up going to jail with SEVEN traffic warrants for Houston Police and ONE at harris county. Spent four night in jail for stuff I already did defensive driving for.

Thats not the worst of it. My girlfriends grandparents were having there wedding vows renewed on saturday and her little brother got baptized on sunday.

So after gettin bit by a bat and having to go to jail, these two weeks have been not good. Havent even got to ride my bike.
anyways thought I would try to get some sympathy.

As you get older, you tend to expect things to go badly. I am 34, but they say having a kid is worth an extra five years, so that actually makes me 64.

I am sorry to hear about your dilemma. The nights I have spent in the county lock up are not that bad. The first one shook me, the ones after that I was just really nice to the booking officers and asked for a pillow and slept. If its just holding you for traffic tickets, just call it a "get out of the rat race free card". Of course, jail in small town Nebraska and Kansas may be totally different than Texas. I have never been jailed there, but I hear Kat is doing MoTM again next year, so there is always a chance.

Don't sweat it too hard, it can always be worse. Hope things start looking up soon for you.

            Hi Kirmit,
that snapping sound is my heart breaking for you.
Perhaps if you'd politely explained your medical condition to the arresting officer and promised not to bite him you'd have gotten out sooner?

On the bright side... at least it's curable... sucks... but it's curable... as for what Fred said... maybe you should have threatened to bite the arresting officer instead?

Ya know... had lots and lots and lots of tickets... I have 2 warrants for my arrest in one state and SIX in another... (unless statute of limitations has kicked in) I have been cuffed and stuffed a couple times.. yet I've never been actually arrested. I just don't think I can hang out with a hoodlum like you... I mean.. what's next? Crack, heroine, and stealing from little old ladies to support your motorcycle habit?

Sorry to hear about your week.. and sorry my sympathy meter is a bit low right now.. *giggle snicker... lol.

Hmmm. You can always ask, but don't be too surprised if you don't get too much, especially from us older farts who also probably did a lot of similar stuff when we were younger but just didn't get caught. Of course, the bat with the rabies part qualifies for sympathy but most of the rest doesn't.

The thing you need to keep in focus is that things like illegal mudding in the middle of the night, and unresolved traffic warrants, are all a matter of choice. Sure, they may have been a lot of fun. You chose to go mudding and you chose to leave the warrants hanging. Along with the freedom to make those choices comes the responsibility to be accountable for your actions. Which brings you to your current situation. You spent a few nights in the slammer, and missed a couple of big 'family' events.

As time goes on, you'll be able to look back on the whole issue and decide if the outcome was really worth the fun. This is something only you will be able to judge. Then you will be able to carry this experience forward to the next time you are presented with a choice.

                      Good luck, grasshopper....

There is a lot of US solders and marines that would consider your county lock up a luxury hotel. My advise would be to obey the law,pay your tickets and cooperate with the police. Then I bet you can stay out of jail.
