Jim ossJughead has been missing in action due to a serious illness. I spoke with him tonight and his health is still hit and miss. He is optomistic that he will make a full recovery and will be back causing trouble soon. Thx Rick

That's the tough part. He's been through a bunch of tests from simple ones to more invasive tests. Nothings come back as a positive. The symptoms are flu like but extremely dabilitating. As well as being intermittent at times. Starts to feel better, goes out and does something like ride, then down for the next week or so. Very frustrating for Jim and his family. He feels he is gradually improving so lets keep our fingers crossed.
We all wish him the best and a speedy recovery. If there is anything his XS Brothers and sisters can do to help, Please just ask.

That sounds exactly like what my stepmother was just in teh hospital in Anchorage for. They didn't know what it was, but she had severe flu like symptoms, and none of the tests could pin it down. They tested her for swine flu, bird flu, and all sorts of other things, but nothing hit. She was very miserable the entire time. I hope we aren't seeing the formation of another vicious strain of flu.

          Hang in there Jim.

Thanks. Yeah, I'd wondered. I had some PM's to him about bike parts he listed with no response. I hope he gets well soon.

That explains alot... I was supposed to be going up there this upcoming weekend to pick up a bike from him. I guess this means he's not gonna be up to having any visitors. Guess I'll have to get with him once he's recovered.

Get well soon Jim! We miss you around here!
