Near Effingham, IL? (Read If your in St Louis)

I have noticed 2 members close by and another noticed me...
How many people live in Central Illinois and may B interested in a meet.
or if I'm stepping in someones turf, who plans the rides in this region.
I already do short runs (with a goldwing owner next door) every Sunday.
We could hook-up with some St Louis members for a short trip around town and dinner or someting.

I have a rallie in 3 weeks or so on the 22nd. Its a 4 hour drive for you to my place but we have a good turnout every year. So far it looks like we will have 5 confermed Xs/Xj's. I have posted the info in the north central section. You missed out on a good ride this spring. We started in Cave in rock IL and rode to Dover Tn. thru LBL. Had a blast meet up with Roy Bean from KY. Was hopeing to get you and Dp lapree on the ride. Planning anouther trip out there next year maybe fall time. not as far down into LBL but just as exciting. Maybe I'll have a gps by then.

Yeah, that's the weekend my wife flies back from the Philippines.
I'm interested in some rides like that in the future but I'm aiming here for some low budget "day rides" that don't require a hotel. I have a CDL (commercial drivers license) and get discounts at hotels but my wife would shoot me for waisting the doe. She already suggested I love the bike more than her because I spend more time with it than her.
I am even thinking about a biker campout on my own. I just need to get a smaller tent.

I got a big back yard and a few tents if you would like you can stay out back. My house is not the best but it is a work in progress. you wouldn't even have to bring anything I am fully stocked on camping gear thanks to Scouts. Just an option if your interested.

It's the date. My filipina wife is in the air right now going home and I will have to drive to Ottawa, IL to pick her up after she returns so that Saturday is out and all my spare change will be sent to her during her trip.

After I fix up the bike more and get a better seat this may be tempting.

I'd love to get together on a Saturday some time. I try not to do stuff on Sundays. SWMBO is a bit jealous of my bike too and can't figure out why I want to ride across the country to meet people I've never seen before. So, a day ride would be a nice introduction.
