Elusive midnight special

I used to have an '82 650 Midnight Maxim.

I bought the 81LH and it had a few issues...I had it running an hour or so after it was unloaded. The TCI was the wrong one and I pretty much just had to change that and the plugs were wrong so they got changed too. I had to clip a bit off of the plug wires to make 2 of them have spark. I have no starter button function so I jumpered it and it ran. It had a fair amount of stuff blow out of the pipes and #1 aint firing right yet but the PO had the carbs apart so I will have to fix that. It aint no beauty queen but it runs and will get fixed up sooner or later. The Midnight Maxim he said he had access to was a 750 and the owner was not around so I could not get any pics.

Man you got us all hot and bothered with the thought of an 1100 Midnight Maxim. Oh well, the search goes on. Nice job on the 81 though.
