    Seat

is fine.......just loose the tail piece. Likeley don't wanna know what's being used for long bolts on seat. They are a fairly compfy seat.........but not mounted like that!

      Special?

There wasn't a Special in '78 and I got one of those seats which I have modified to fit me and I love it. I don't see what's wrong with the mount. Am I missing something? Great looking "E" though....

Problem is if you take the plastic cowl off, the TCI sticks out behind the seat.

It just looked funny, as he's done a ton of work, for a nice looking bike, then to have the seat sitting all goofy like that.

I am sure that style of seat is available, w/o modification, for 78s too.

I'm temped to ride over and see it but I don't normally pay attention to reserve auctions. Without knowing the reserve, there's no reason to get very interested in it...

Just pop over and tell him his seat doesn't seem to fit right...

That would go over like a turd in a punch bowl... With the seat rigged like that, I'm wondering what else it wrong with it?

I had a seat like that on my SG.It was the most painful seat Ive had.
Why worry about reserves?I put in what I'm willing to pay,if that aint enough I dont need it.
If you are really interestd, maybe ask seller what the reserve is.Some guys will tell you.It may be reasonable.
When ebay first started I got caught up in the buying thing and paid more than a couple things were worth, then I realized,I need to set a price what stuff is worth and then bid.

Some one bid on it but I highly doubt it will reach reserve...

Why in the heck do people put things like this in their CL ads??

"chevy ford nissan toyota dodge pickup honda kawasaki quad trike lcd plasma truck tools "

I could see things like, motorcycle, or even other makes, but LCD, and Plasma?? I don't see a TV on that bike!
