I was wondering if there were known and or documented 1/4 mile times on the xs1100.

Didn't it break into the 11's back when it was introduced, thus the name XS11?1979 XS11F Standard - Maya - 1196cc (out of order)
1978 XS11E Standard - Nina - 1101cc

In the article from Cycle world they called it the XS11 before actually testing. I think it's just a happy coincidence.79 XS1100F "JINGUS"

Do you want it done right or do you want me to do it?Comment

1/4 mile time
G'day to the forum,
In the ride report on this site it states that a motorcycle mag put the XS1100 through something like 18 runs the best (from memory) was an 118 mph run in 11.8 seconds I think, the worst was still under 12 seconds.
Check the story to be sure.

Back about 1985 my 80 midnight bested at 11:92 at like 104 but I usually got around 12:10 or so . Had stock pipes cut off about at the brackets and jetted up , Had airbox removed and ran the velocity stacks that go in the airbox, worked great for me. No timeslips anymore sorry.
