    Not MC related, But...

    My new nephew is here!! He is 8lbs 3ozs. Here he is with my brother and 2 of my old-no-longer-fun nephews. lol:



    Look how wide awake and he's only minutes old here. Just thought I'd share. Later all.

        That's great, Ashencone! Send my congrats.

        Ohhh... when my oldest son (who's now 24) was first born, no one told me different... I assumed they were like little puppies... you know... keep their eyes closed for the first week... minutes after his birth, the nurse handed him to me and asked if I wanted to carry him to the nursery. I said "sure"... as soon as I held him, he opened his eyes and scared the...... outa me! Almost dropped him! LOL For grins I've always told him that's how he became a "knothead"...
