    79SF luggage rack photo?

    Greetings all,

Does anyone have a correct photo of a 79SF luggage/backrest?

I need something that shows the mounting brackets. I have a contact that may have one to sell to me but would like something to compare.

    Thanks in advance,

    Rodger

      Thanks silent,

That may do the trick. I can measure the bolt spreads and that should do the trick...I hope.

      Thanks again..

Looks like about 6 1/8" center to center for the bolt holes.

Hey, keep in mind that those holes aren't on the same plane, one is a little closer to the center of the bike then the other so you'll have to account for that.

          Silent,
Is that one bolt in the turn signal hole the only one holding your bags up?

It's only one of three bolts per bag. The bags are bolted to the case savers, and the case savers are boltes to the upper shock mount and the passenger foot peg so the bags are very stable.

I like your turn signal light mounts. Did you build those?

They were on the bike when I got it. It's a piece of chromed flatbar that's been bent and mounts behind the license plate. Looks like it's part of an actual relocation kit. I couldn't tell ya where to look for one tho.
