I saw an add on TV for ICE wax and went to auto zone and saw it there-$17.99 for a container.Was curious-has anyone tried this and what do you think is better paste or liquid wax?I have a tub of Mothers and it is a paste wax but also have Griots Garage and their wax is a liquid-both shine good .

My son has used it on his truck and he was quite impressed. As I understand it, if you get some on the black rubber trim or black plastic it does not show like most wax does.

Polishing

Was in a local Bike shop the other day.......saw a Mechanic polishng an H-D for the owner; this was at the local shop rate! This was'nt the 1st time the mechanic replied to me.....dont know what kind of polish he was using, some kinda blue paste in a small jar

It works great for a quick touch up and a little goes a long way.Try Walmart they sell it for about half that price.Terry

Hi Oldyam,
betcha it's the same as any other polishing wax. You need 5% wax plus 95% elbow grease to get a good shine. Plus a clean fluffy towel but don't be seen nicking it out of the linen closet.
Coincidentally I just gave my rig it's annual wash and I'm waiting for it to dry. Gotta go persuade SWMBO that the rattiest of our towels is only fit for the rag bag.

Elbow grease

Actually there is not a whole lot of elbow grease needed for this product. It works great, especially on old stuff like our Yammies!!
