How can I post a picture from my computer to the forum?

The pictures you see in the body of a post need to live somewhere on the internet. You don't need a viewable website, just a web page location with the pictures living there, then when composing your post, point to your picture using the IMG tag.
If you right-click on any pic you see and choose Properties, you will see any number of different url's for pics that have been posted. You can use imagestation.com, which might be easier than putting your pix on a website.Mike * Seattle * 82 F'n'XJ1100 * -
