    after all the trouble i have had finding these i thought i would post this. but before i did i asked kat to look at this so i would not be posting something no one would be looking for.

    despite the fact that the forum has its own ship swapping service, those prices are pretty good relative to others sources. The shims are like $14 each from the dealer.

      No doubt! Can't find anything that inexpensive around here... even with trade ins...

        Hey guys: There is also another place in Canada that ships all over. It is www.siriusconinc.com they are located in Ontario. I just got some new carb boots from them for 79.00 with shipping & tax was total 101.77 Cdn. & i got in 3 days from the order date. They have a total shim kit for all 29mm Shim tears at $89.00 cdn. You have to search the site it is order number 13-7007. This is the only other place I have found that has the shim kit. I will be ordering the kit this winter for next spring. - Dan

            I had to pay $20aud from a yammy dealer for
            a 245 shim that i couldnt find anywhere else. It was listed at $25.

              Another source for shims

              Check out http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/Index_Main_Frame.htm

              They have shims a a reaonable price. My Yamaha dealer was 20.00+ each. What a ripoff!!!

                Yeah it was, but i got it the next day, I wasted the
                previous cpl of days trying to get one.
