  • I'm a Dad again!

Some of you are aware of the rough time I've had being estranged from both my kids for a very long time. Well two weeks ago I met my son after four years apart and today I met my daughter who I haven't seen in ten years or more.

    I made a little video.

I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am, I just had to share this with you all.

We had a good looking postman obviously...

Thanks Kat. It's been an amazing day. I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to post it here but I want the whole World to know how happy I am and I want to give some hope to all the other estranged Dad's out there.

                    Good on ya Dan.
Makes me happy. I can't imagine what that was like for you.
My kids are my life's work after all, and I get grumpy when I don't hear from them for even a day.

                    Well done.

                      Not to overstate it but.....

It's been absolute hell. I've suffered for more than ten years and not as a result of any choice I made. It was imposed on me and I had nowhere to go. All I could do was tough it out so you can imagine where my head is at the moment. I won't sleep for a month! Thanks for your kind words,

                      Dan.

                        Hi Dan,
what a great thing to happen, I am delighted to read about it.
Good-looking young people too. The beer is fine but wean them off the tobacco habit eh?
My own second marriage is a package deal that included two small boys.
My wife's ex ran away and hid rather than pay maintenance.
I have had the pleasure of helping raise two small boys into responsible adulthood while the ex has saved himself $100,000 or so.
I know I got the better deal.
