Where I went to school, the Prom King and Queen were a couple. We voted for them as a set, not individually. However, if that's how the school sets it up, the student's go for it, then so be it. It IS SoCal, after all. I grew up there, so I can understand how this could definitely happen.

Yeah, I suppose being in SoCal it would happen but I don't think it'll happen here in Michigan for some time. A few years back a guy who graduated from a high school here in Michigan changed into a female and was living out in (I think) California tried to get his school records changed to reflect his current name & gender and they wouldn't let him do it, from what I can remember. I don't know what that has to do with anything but it was JAT
