We still doing this? I know with Ivan's bike needing repairs, maybe we could make that a part of this get-together? I'm really looking forward to meeting up with you folks, and learning some hands-on stuff from you all as well.

I believe that we are. July 25th. Get together at Russ's place. Work on some bikes. Eat some burgers and such. Go for a ride around KC. The roads are nothing like arkansas twisties but we know a few decent ones on the kansas side.

Sounds good. I'll inquire again when the time gets closer to verify and get meeting time/address. I'm looking at a 4-5 hour ride to get there, so I might come the night before and crash at a local motel. SWMBO isn't coming, so I don't have to worry about anything nicer than a Motel 6.

The 25th may/may not work for me. Coming to KC on the 10th for the grandson's 1st b-day. Dodge City on the 18th for my crazy old mother's b-day.
So the 25th may be a stretch on the budget. Although I could possibly make it a day trip, since it is only a couple of hundred miles.

Wow! Cool! That'd be great! I was planning on scoping out local Motel 6's once I figured out where Russ lived, but crashing with a local XSive would be MUCH better! I'm thinking of riding up there Friday evening after work, so I'd probably get to KC about 9:30pm or so. I'll send a PM for details.

The date is pretty hard to nail down and work for everyone. ZombieRob is heading out of town for an extended amount of time after this rally (or at least was) and the whole thing was sorta his idea. I wish we could accomodate everyone.

I have spoken with Russ about this and he is happy to host this. Does anyone have specific work that they want to accomplish or are we just looking at general tune-ups? Russ has a nice lift and about any tool you could ever need as well as a set of sync gauges.

I will get a map and directions to Russ's house posted soon.

Hey all,

Sounds like we have the date all nailed down. If could get a rough head count of everyone who is coming, that would be great. That way I will know how much food to fix. I hope hamburgers and hot dogs off the grill is ok. I also have a kegorator, so refreshments shouldn't be a problem. Also give me an idea of what work is needing to get done. That way I can have parts lined up, as well as anything else we might need. Looking forward to meeting new xsessives, and making new friends. See you all the 25th.
