    is anyone interested in a local k.c. ride?

    i know i've mentioned it a couple of times but i would like to try and get a local k.c. area xsives ride together sometime this summer. If anyone would like to participate or has any input on places or just general info i think that this thread would work well. readyyyy................GO!

    I know I'm a bit far away, but I'd love to join you all. Preferably the weekend of July 25th or later. While I'm there, I'd kinda like to use the technical expertise of a few of you to do some fine tuning on my bike.

      I am clear in August...so far.

      Bug, we'll get you all tuned up. There are lots of experts around KC. We can "fix" near anything. You just have to trust us....

          Hey, I was talking to Russ79 about this and I think we were looking at the third weekend in July as a possible date. What we were thinking was meeting at Russ's, maybe working on some bikes if anyone has something that they would like done (like syncing some carbs) and then taking a ride. Maybe some BBQ before or after.

            Unfortunately, the 3rd weekend in July (the 18th) is the one weekend that I absolutely CANNOT do it. That's my last day with my son until Thanksgiving, (I get him from next weekend 'till then) so I'm definitely not available that weekend.

              Aug Maybe?

              I am up for the last week in July or the first week in Aug. Aug would be better for me since I have to go to Dodge City the weekend of the 20th.

                  I think that sounds like a good idea, except i'm leaving for seattle the first week of august or the last week of july.
                  Whoever coined the phrase livin' the dream forgot to mention whether it was a good dream or bad dream.

                        I'll be leaving to live there for at least the next year for school. there will definitely be trips home to see the kids and catch up with old friends and of course the midwest xsives. I think the last weekend in july would be best for me. that's the time frame i'm shooting for.
