  • Birthday Boy XS1100SG

May 29th I bought my bike at Beechmont Yamaha here in Cincinnati Ohio and I am still riding it today....a year old picture but it still looks the same today..

It still gets called into service for the overniters..

It still stands tall and proud when on the road, not the fastest or best handeling but one of the best looking bikes on the road...

And an early picture when it was just a babe....

But I can still pick up the babes..

So after 29 years of ownership of an XS 1100..this is the bike for me,my partner has a nice Sportster,I had a Kaw 1300 Touring but this old bike..
    Takes me there...

Happy Aniversary Bill!! Another milestone reached. Looks dang good to, alot better than alot of bikes less than half its age for sure! I'd say you both have treated each other quite well.

Bill, you should buy her some flowers and take her out for a nice ride on the town to celebrate your anniversary! Then maybe if you're lucky she'll give you a look at what's under that fairing.

        Congrats on the milestone!
I know this, because Tyler knows this.

Somehow I no longer want to sneak up on Eric when he is in the garage with his 11.

            Don,Eric..thanks..it's been a good ride..
Rodger..I remember riding thru Sacramento on a saturday on my way to Redwood city on my bike but don't think I saw ya years ago Might be out your way again in two years depending on where I take the train to.Behind my motel was a bike trail and I walked it some and I don't think I ever saw so many blue tarps set up as home before along the river.
Might go to FL or New Orleans or maybe even LA this winter...good to hear from ya again.

I wish I had known you were going to be in this are last time, would have been nice to get to meet someone from the forums. Heck, I probably would have even treated to a nice bbq'd steak and fixings.
