I've installed quite a few accessories since I got the bike. Handlebar risers, windshield, luggage rack, backrest, travel bag and now a crash bar. Also repainted the entire bike frame and motor and tank/side covers since owning it.
Today, I recieved the crash bars today that I won on ebay. I think I got a pretty good deal on them, considering they are in new condition. They went on really easily and make the bike look a lot better looking I think. The wife doesn't like them but oh well. Now I need to find a set of pegs that fit and don't stick out a mile when they are flipped down.

    Here's some new pics

The motor looks really good. What kind of paint did you use on it? I'm thinking about painting my replacement motor before I install it (after I check it out of course.

I first sprayed it down several times with oven cleaner.. let it sit a few minutes, rise it off.
I did this until it was about 95% bare aluminum. I used a tooth brush the last few times to get off all the flaky and loose stuff.

The I used my air hose to blow off all the extra stuff and some of the stubborn paint.

Let it dry and the next day I sprayed it down with low gloss black high heat paint. It layed out really well.

I had removed the exhaust already, so I masked off the tank, what little chrome it had on it, and the aluminum and repainted the motor and the frame at the same time.

Then reinstalled everything. It came out looking really good I think.

      Thanks for the nice comments

Glad I didn't bid on those. I saw those or at least another set like new, on ebay. They look good on your bike.

There were 2 sets on when I was bidding. These and a bent set.

I had them for like $30+ shipping to start with, last few minutes they soared up. I about lost them.
