  • Ok, I am just sick!

I have spent the last couple hours on Ebay bidding for parts. I gota say, it's a shame to see our wounderful bikes cut down to their lowest elements being sold this way. I love the chance at the parts, but it is still a damn shame!
Any one knowing of a 1100 special in the Minnesota area needing a new home, please let me know!

That's my feeling too. While it is nice to have a ready set of parts, several xs11's are dieing every week.

      I agree also,
might not be so bad if the bikes
didnt appear to be so complete.

Sorry, but i'm eternally grateful for some poeple breaking down thier bikes at the moment. They're like the proverbial Rocking Horse Sh*t over here, and without people "stateside" selling parts I'd never have been able to repair mine. That being said, I agree, some of the bikes look like there was bugger all wrong with them before being stripped, and it's a crying shame.

"might not be so bad if the bikes"

Might not be so bad if they didn't look better than the ones I am putting the parts onto!

I absolutely refuse to part out my XS1100SH. My plan is to have it up and running completely so when I sell it, the new owner can ride it away.

That's the plan anyway....we'll see how that goes.

When I bought my SG, the SH was sold to me with it as a "parts bike". I couldn't bring myself to cause the end to another 1100 Special.
