    Cottage Grove Bikefest

    There is going to be a bike festival down in Cottage Grove, Oregon this Saturday. I thought you folks might be interested if you didn't have plans. I have never been to it. It used to be sponsered by a local bike shop until it got too cost prohibitive.

      Hey Bill is it supposed to pour over on that side of the mountains on Saturday? If it does rain are you going to ride down there anyway? Terry

        I lived in Eugene from '66 to '84.
        Rain in Cottage Grove? What are you, a member of the James G. Blain Society?

        My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
        I've been riding since 1959.
