Nice looking bike! I'm jealous of the seat, I haven't seen one with the painted trim like that along the bottom.

        Very, very nice!

Big Dick, the '78 and '79 had the metal trim piece below the seat. Here's one with the painted trim, and the reproduced '79 pinstriping.

Good looking bike! As a matter of fact, I think I did some work on it! Did you buy it from someone in San Jose, CA???? If you are in California, check on the threads below. We are going to have a rally just south of Paso Robles in June. That is about 4 hours south of SJ.

I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

Looks like another one of those bikes that was lost brand new in a warehouse, then gets released into the world 30 yrs later. Wow, that bike looks great!

                  Enjoy and baby it.

Very nice! I'd have that bike parked in my living room. A museum piece for sure. I wonder if it's the lowest milage bike on this site.

If it IS the bike I think it is, the PO paid about $3000.00 IIRC. He was on the site for a while, and I went over to his house in San Jose, CA to get the carbs working. The bike looked like it just came out of the crate!. It HAD been repainted, and the stripes were gone. I am almost positive this is the same bike. Ran REAL nice once I had the carbs tuned...

You would be correct the bike had 715 original miles when I had it shipped from Cal. I paid 3000 my opinion money well spent the bike is perfect.
