Watch out for that Tim Horton's (Timmy's). It is addictive. Timmy's coffee and hockey are the only reason this country isn't completely desserted in the winter. Quebec invented poutine to kill off the rest of the provinces.

tell me abt that addiction ...yesterday on the way home I stopped in and got me a large coffe to go and I was cranked for at least the next 220 miles...next time at Timmy's I will be buying a pound of it to bring home...as for the poutine...yeah blame it on the French...they just want to kill off their opposition to their separtist movement...

I couldn't make it out to Jim's. There's just too much going on household wise. A full week out work and I really did not get a lot done on the bike. OH WELL .. in a few very short weeks the weather should be good for the painting i want to do and then she will go together as fast as I can bolt the parts on her. I think next spring I will move my holidays a few weeks back. Like mid April.
Jim .. I will have to make a run out to your place one day this week after work.

I must have missed something. Why was your bike disassembled? I saw a pic you posted recently and Max looked pretty darn good.

Thanks Phil pictures lie...LOL he is getting a frame off resto...mostly engine painting and all the dull metal shined up...also brake rebuild and some electrical gremlins and a rear main seal leak to be fixed. and the Jardine exhaust headers paint is really sucky. I drove thru two hours of rain and the freaking pipes are rusty! So they'll get painted too.

I have returned from Ontario...trailered my XJ up to Jim. Wish I could have met some of youse guys there but I nonetheless met some fine people! Thankyou Jim and Lori for your generousity and hospitality. I have some new favorite things ...Tim Horton's rocks...best damn coffee on the N.American continent and that thing called a Poutine...thats off the charts...for those who dont know ..its French fries smothered in brown gravy and topped either curd cheese or Mozzerella. That was off the charts...WOW!
I have some pics to post as well. The weather was close to 65*f and was picture perfect skies...We all stopped at Tim Horton's for a spot of lunch and an iced Cappucino. In the parking lot were many bikes mostly weekend warrior harley dudes.We had the cooles bikes there with the exception of one classic naked Gold Wing(not pictured).

















One hour after our ride and Max was so happy he was beside himself... Literally... OMG! I have never seen him dis-assembled so quickly...ah better days are coming Eh?
