Has anyone used this Joe Rocket carbon fiber helmet? I saw it at a stealer showroom and tried it on; I just had to have one, so bought one off of ebay.

I've seen a couple of the carbon fiber helmets. Not that particular one.. but yeah, they look really sharp... and maybe stop that stray bullet to the head when you ride in the 'hood? lol.
Nice helmet.

I like that piece that comes up over the nose. I'm guessing it would be great to cut down on fogging at stop lights. Then again, it may get pretty warm in there in the summer.

After purchasing a few full face helmets over the internet, I had to give that up as none of them fit. I ended up with an Arai helmet as it was the only thing I tried that fit. My head is what they term "long oval". Who else makes helmets in shapes other than round, and how do you shop them? I did once try a forum member's Shoei that fit, but I don't remember what model it was.
I suspect if the Joe Rocket helmet fits Nashville Bill, it won't fit me. He has such a pretty round head.

I did try it on at a dealer before I ordered it and I would never order a helmet without trying it on because there is no standard. I like my HJC AC-11 (I've worn HJC for about 10 years and four helmets), but I don't like any of the newer HJC helmets because they don't fit the same as the AC-11. I have an oval head, but not extra oval and this is the only currently produced helmet that I have found that feels good -- I hope it is as good out on the road as it felt in the showroom.
