  • Spring in da u.p.

    1st day of spring! had to take this pic this am not time to ride here yet a friend of mine wants to weld skis on this frame and hook up his sled dogs to it and go for a ride

    That's the whitest sand I've ever seen...


    Looks like you need a couple of parts before that bike is road worthy... but the skis might be a viable option in the meantime...

    What kind of power does that thing have?

      Spent a few years in Sault Ste. Marie, in the AF at Kinross/Kinchelo. We had 200 inches a year and it did not start melting until June. I stood a formation when they renamed the Base on July 4 and it was 29F and had snow flurries. We of course had transistion to summer tans.

          Are you planning on rebuilding that? The only reason I ask is I noticed you have the "Yamaha" plate on the forks right below the headlight. Gary F is in need of one for his new project bike. His looks like it was stored in salt water.

          Sorry if I am like a vulture flying slow circles over your bike.

            hey don i do the same but this parts bike came from down state saltvill Detroit and the badge is pitted and rusty!
