Well if you are all going to get together at Jim's...I might be able to time a visit...seems I'm so impressed by his restorations that I hope to employ his talents on the Max ...so if the Saturday following this one is a good day weather wise ...BTW how are your roads shaping up? Are you still getting snow?
We haven't got any new snow in a while but there still is some snow on the ground. The roads are clear and dry for the most part but some secondary roads still have salt and sand on them that has yet to be swept up or washed away. Daytime temperatures are still cool with over night lows well below freezing. I suspect we are about a month behind you in your weather.
Cheers,
Paul

I'm not a motorcycle mechanic but I play one on the internet.
I'm good to go any following weekend on the Saturday or Sunday.
Also just realized I must be up and at em at the hardware store to buy the door hardware if I want them to install it.
Jim ... Hoping whatever you got in your eye comes out without too much fuss...
Rob

Hey Ben,
As Blue Giant stated, it's been a while since we've had any new snow fall up this way and, most of what we had, is no more. And, unless you're off ridin' in the woods, it's highly unlikely you'd find any snow on or along side any of the roadways.
Overall, the roads are in pretty good condition, with the exception of some that are currently suffering from "frostic heavitis", a condition common in the northern areas that, when riding these roads, makes you feel like you're sitting on a bucking bronc . Fortunately, that condition should remedy itself in the coming weeks, once the weather warms up a bit more and, the frost exits for another year .
That being said, I've been riding my bike almost daily, for the past 12 days or so () and, have found that the majority of roads, particularly the main roads, are in decent shape. However, in addition to some roads suffering from "frostic heavitis", a lot of roads have a condition known as "pot hole-e-s#it" which can cause immediate and sustained damage to parts of your bike or car and, YOUR parts too ! ! !
Unfortunately, that condition is ongoing and, while repairs are made as quickly as possible, they're just like Hardleys... you've no sooner passed one when, right up ahead, there's another !
So, to all, be careful out there and, Ride Safe!

Hey Jim;
Earlier today when you mentioned having something in your eye and, how and when you got it, I was afraid something like that might have happened.
I truly hope that everything is OK, 'cause that kind of injury can cause some serious damage especially if not tended to right away.
When you get a moment, let us know how you made out at the hospital.

That is good news Jim.
The lads got 2 of my doors installed yesterday and are returning on Tuesday to finish. They will have a surprise. The blasted side light window of the front door split right down the center a few hours after they left GRRRRRRR
