        spooge

I just rebuilt mine and on the front you have to pull off the cup to get at it and the rear has the little well in the bottomit is right under the bigger hole , just unscrew the bolt on the side. And its a straight shot , I use a .08 guitar string

When I worked on my front brakes, I turned my reservior about 45 degrees to get to the spooge hole. I tried prying it off, but it was gonna take alot more force than I wanted to put on 30 year old plastic.

That's what I thought too, so I used a 1-1/2" putty knife to distribute the force and worked it around the reservoir until it popped off.

Things like this thread make me really glad I have the model and year that I have... My front MC is all one piece, cast aluminum (painted black), with a screw on aluminum lid. The reservoir doesn't come off, because the whole thing is all one piece of metal, and there's no need to worry about deteriorating plastic. The spooge hole is plainly visible after removing the lid.

                  Hey Arrow,

The thread/tech tip WildKat spoke about did indeed have broken image links, and they have been fixed.
