I guess it's just me, but when I ride NO cell cal is worth stopping the ride.

I have PDA phone, with GPS and google maps, etc. That with a bluetooth setup, and I could possibly take a call on the move, but I doubt I ever would. Listening to my music is a definite possibility though.

I do have to slow to @ 45mph or so or wind noise is too bad, but the phone on intercom tucked in behind the windshield is do-able if needed. Better than trying to pull off somewhere with no shoulder, or limited shoulder with cars wizzing past. SWMBO let's me go all over the country on rides without griping, so an occasional call gets answered if I'm just somewhere cruising. Just a quick check in.. 15 seconds or something... and she's happy. If momma ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy. Sometimes it's important.. most of the time, just checking in.

If I'm somewhere busy.. lots of traffic or twisties needing attention, I'll get to it when I can, not then. But it's certainly not any more involved than riding while taking pics or video... which DOES get done in twisties and traffic. I need a good mount like that for my camera... but I need a camera that has image stabilization first.. otherwise it would be even worse than what I shoot now.

Nice design. And they say it's only the chimpanzees, not the gorillas that have mastered tool use.

I have a mount for my XM sat radio on the handlebars.

My phone is bluetooth capable, so I can answer it w/o taking it out of my pocket, if necessary.

I was looking at a new CD deck that has Bluetooth capability. It will do call display, and mute the music when a call comes in, or if I need to call out.

I am not really worried about incoming calls, but it's handy to be able to call ahead from time to time.

Taking and making calls while I ride is not a big concern, although it would be nice.

Methinks it would be nice to have GPS when trying to find some obscure little town in the southeast of OK where I have never been. Especially when I have never been there in the daylight, let alone the dark.

Now, if I could just find some gal from OH to ride my bike while breastfeeding and talking on the cell, I could make a decent safety film.

Far southeast Oklahoma around the outskirts of Broken Bow.. as bad as the drugs are getting there... riding around will probably get you detained for questioning. Riding around there at night will probably get you killed.... so no need of GPS. Most of those roads probably aren't on one anyway!

SO... if coming to Oklahoma.. your best bet is a tour guide that works for food and beer.

Nope, this be a CNC shop. We have anold south bend lathe with a make shift turret. Most of our tooling is from grinding broken endmills.

The mill is a very old bridgeport knockoff that isnt true any more, so you have to keep an eye on how far you travel the table, since it gets a bit crooked near the ends.

We used to go down there kiaking on one of the rivers. They had a 20 mile trip that we'd always take, but it started getting the "Deliverance" feel. You'd see people on 4-wheelers just past the treeline watching you float by.. actually witnessed them using dynomite to fish.. lol. When they saw us coming towrds them they took off like crazy. It got to where the company that owned the kiaks that would come pick us up were getting scared to drive down into there to come get us. Plus.. they started having fairly regular alligator sightings... lol. A kiak probably looks like a big fish from below.
