  • Spring comes early

So the members in the Great White North can remember what Spring looks like... This is what we have this morning...

Temps are supposed to be in the upper 70s today and mid 80s tomorrow... May not last long... but long enough to get in some decent ride time...

    Ya know...

Some women sure know how to rub salt in a poor guy's wounds. Just kick 'em while they're down frozen on the ground why don't ya?

      yeah well...

when it's 125 degrees here in the summer (can you say... riding in a convection oven?) they can write about how nice it is to ride in mid-80s and 90s...

          Wow, Paul!

In that... freeze your butt off kind of way... that's really pretty...

Just not conducive to riding anything with two wheels... very long...

No but the snowmobilers love it!

It's above freezing here this afternoon. We to get a snow rain mix for the next two days.

High 50's to high 60's here now. With my Vetter it's nice riding weather when the rain stops.

Kat... Thats great to have lovely weather...and its good to see a prelude of things to come...Here all the plant life is still dormant but today was gorgeous @ 45* and bright sunny blue skies...I just finished an all day ride to Southern NY following the Delaware River ...on my ST1100... all back roads... did 290 miles and no heated gear.
Paul and all my Northerly Brothers and Sisters...you all have my sympathies...just hang in there a few more weeks...or trailer up those bikes and head on down to NJ I'll lead you on some of NJ's best roads I've already ridden close to 2000 miles this year all on the ST ofc...

Yeh you can have that. Last year we had two days that hit 90 deg. that's for the entire year. It got up to 40 today, outside without a coat. We aren't supposed to hit 70 for the first time of the year until the end of March.

Thus far this year I have not ridden MadMax but tmrw the new battery goes in and hopefully we'll get some miles in.I am eager to see if the mods to the windjammer work or not. This will determine wether or not the bike will be just a local daytripper or a LD cruiser going to XSEast. I've become spoiled in having bikes with fairings. Its supposed to be 45* tmrw and sunny...perfect!
