That's what makes this COMMUNITY at XS11 so great. The knowledge lost from a single member won't be detrimental. I'm not great on carbs or electrical, but dozens of people are. I CAN now tear a motor out, split the cases, remove every gear and bearing, then put it all back together only occasionally glancing at the book for a torque spec. "Professional" simply means you get paid. Getting paid doesn't necessarilly make one smarter at something.
While you are welcome to have an opinion and voice it, when 99.9% of the people think that someone is a bit out in left field.. possibly the nose bleed section of the bleachers.. it's usually the .1% that may be a bit in denial. Pointing out things to "Prove" your point when they aren't based on fact, doesn't help your case either. Conspiracy theorists wouldn't exist if they didn't get SOME to bite...
As for the twin towers, (Which this wasn't about to begin with..) anyone that knows anything about balistics or kinetic energy that watches the films of the planes hitting should be AMAZED that they withstood the initial impact at all. (Unless those films are obviously a fake also to trick us..)The only thing that really penetrated all the way through the building was the jet fuel and other small pieces. This means that the buildings absorbed nearly ALL of the energy from the impact. Engineers who designed that building probably weren't thinking of that type of impact to withstand. Who would have dreamed before 9/11 that there were people wacko enough to actually do something like that to innocent people?
As for your kerosine heater, it doesn't melt down because the heat is escaping.. doing as it was intended to do. Inside the towers, the heat couldn't escape as fast as it was building... eventually something is going to melt. Unless it was the tannerite that the government smeared on the steel.. exactly where those planes were going to hit. If that seems plausible to you.. no amount of reasoning is going to do any good. Some people just want to believe that people are out to get them. Just one thing though.. if the government kills everyone... who's going to be left to bribe them?

Most of the residents of Australia and or Canada on this site have more knowledge about the events on 9/11 than the average United States Citizen. Latest polls in the USA say only 60% do not believe the official Government version of the happenings. Why trash me for bringing news from other Countries and alternative news sources from the USA on these events?

I've spent years studying the evidence and have formed my own conclusions on what really happened. They had me hook line and sinker when this stuff happened at first. It took me a couple of years to come to my senses about the ridiculous story of some idiot in a cave that was dieing of organ failure pulling off the greatest attack in USA history and against the most heavily fortified complex in the world. The Pentagon. The Pentagon had 1 hole 14 foot in diameter and the windows didn't even break where the massive turbine engines struck them...LOL

I think its time to take the conspiracy theories back to Roswell. Everyone has the right to their opinion, however, if expressing it causes discord, maybe it is time to fully embrace your right to remain silent.

I have spent my adult life in critical study of Christianity. In an intelligent discussion, I have never failed to prove the existance of the loving God of Christianity. I know all too well that proof does not make a person believe.
Now, how long do you think it would be tolerated if I posted once or twice a month about my faith, and then said "You all have the right to your opinion, but Ive read the Bible seven times, and youre stupid not to believe me"?
By far and large, XSers arent buying into your religion, and it is a religion. We are asking that you leave it at the door.
As far as being a professional, I have been a professional auto tech myself. I was one long enough to know there are two kinds of experiance. There are guys that have 30 years of experiance and guys that have 6 months of experiance 15 times over, and over, and over.....Ich habe dich nicht gefragt.

Claim: Two holes were visible in the Pentagon immediately after the attack: a 75-ft.-wide entry hole in the building's exterior wall, and a 16-ft.-wide hole in Ring C, the Pentagon's middle ring. Conspiracy theorists claim both holes are far too small to have been made by a Boeing 757. "How does a plane 125 ft. wide and 155 ft. long fit into a hole which is only 16 ft. across?" asks reopen911.org, a Web site "dedicated to discovering the bottom line truth to what really occurred on September 11, 2001."
FACT: When American Airlines Flight 77 hit the Pentagon's exterior wall, Ring E, it created a hole approximately 75 ft. wide, according to the ASCE Pentagon Building Performance Report. The exterior facade collapsed about 20 minutes after impact, but ASCE based its measurements of the original hole on the number of first-floor support columns that were destroyed or damaged. Computer simulations confirmed the findings.
Why wasn't the hole as wide as a 757's 124-ft.-10-in. wingspan? A crashing jet doesn't punch a cartoon-like outline of itself into a reinforced concrete building, says ASCE team member Mete Sozen, a professor of structural engineering at Purdue University. In this case, one wing hit the ground; the other was sheared off by the force of the impact with the Pentagon's load-bearing columns, explains Sozen, who specializes in the behavior of concrete buildings. What was left of the plane flowed into the structure in a state closer to a liquid than a solid mass. "If you expected the entire wing to cut into the building," Sozen tells PM, "it didn't happen."
The tidy hole in Ring C was 12 ft. wide — not 16 ft. ASCE concludes it was made by the jet's landing gear, not by the fuselage.
Intact Windows
Claim: Many Pentagon windows remained in one piece — even those just above the point of impact from the Boeing 757 passenger plane. Pentagonstrike.co.uk, an online animation widely circulated in the United States and Europe, claims that photographs showing "intact windows" directly above the crash site prove "a missile" or "a craft much smaller than a 757" struck the Pentagon.
FACT: Some windows near the impact area did indeed survive the crash. But that's what the windows were supposed to do — they're blast-resistant.
"A blast-resistant window must be designed to resist a force significantly higher than a hurricane that's hitting instantaneously," says Ken Hays, executive vice president of Masonry Arts, the Bessemer, Ala., company that designed, manufactured and installed the Pentagon windows. Some were knocked out of the walls by the crash and the outer ring's later collapse. "They were not designed to receive wracking seismic force," Hays notes. "They were designed to take in inward pressure from a blast event, which apparently they did: [Before the collapse] the blinds were still stacked neatly behind the window glass."
Flight 77 Debris
Claim: Conspiracy theorists insist there was no plane wreckage at the Pentagon. "In reality, a Boeing 757 was never found," claims pentagonstrike.co.uk, which asks the question, "What hit the Pentagon on 9/11?"
FACT: Blast expert Allyn E. Kilsheimer was the first structural engineer to arrive at the Pentagon after the crash and helped coordinate the emergency response. "It was absolutely a plane, and I'll tell you why," says Kilsheimer, CEO of KCE Structural Engineers PC, Washington, D.C. "I saw the marks of the plane wing on the face of the building. I picked up parts of the plane with the airline markings on them. I held in my hand the tail section of the plane, and I found the black box." Kilsheimer's eyewitness account is backed up by photos of plane wreckage inside and outside the building. Kilsheimer adds: "I held parts of uniforms from crew members in my hands, including body parts. Okay?"
