Southern IL, Ky, and Tn ride

I am hosting the Lost in Il rallie again this year. We will be starting out in the Shawnee National Forest and riding down to the Land Between The Lakes. I am looking for anyone that knows this area to help out a little. I got the route planned and was told of some good places to eat in the area. I am planning on heading down little later (when the weather breaks) to ride the route. For more Info Please check out the Lost in IL link in the north central area.

I live near LBL. in Kentucky. You can hit the Northern part of the trace just East of Ky. Dam. I'm sure there is probably a site for LBL and you can check out all the attractions. The old homestead is intersting.

I really like the ride down to Paris Landing. You can check out Ft. Donaldson. A Civil War fort. If you come through Cairo,Il./ Wickliffe,Ky. you could go south and catch Columbus Belmont Park. Another Civil War. park. That will keep you on the two lanes. Get gas in Wickliffe.
