        Fred:

Don't know the problem, photo showed up in my first post and your reply. In this case the photo is a .bmp (bit map) and not a .jpg. If you are interested I will convert it, but it does seems to show up Ok in my browser.

I see it in all of the posts. And yes it is butt ugly. He could have taken a little time to router the corners, maybe some stain.

              Insurance

Would the bike insurance cover termites? Personally I'd use Thompson's Water seal. Imagine the splinter you would get if you hit something and slide up the "frame."

A small carb fire would be disasterous. After the fire you could carry it in a small box though.

                    Hi Jerry,
yeah, thanks for the re-post, the jpg pic shows the bike perfectly.
Now I see the pic I wonder why others on this string are slagging it.
The bike looks like it would lumber along quite nicely.

                      The Amish go HD

That was made by Weird Al for his Amish Paradise song I think, not quite white and nerdy enough for him though, so they skipped it.

                        Hi Bigfoot,
butt-ugly perhaps but so long as it runs I can deal with that.
BTW wooden you suppose the design team is some kind of splinter group?

Heck, I have two of those in the shed and one I haven't cut down yet. That pic makes me think of all the miles I've logged on the turnpike as I headed for the redwoods. The picture makes me pine for the days when I could leaf at a moment's notice on my chopper without having to axe anyone's persimmon. I converted mine to chainsaw drive to add a couple of ponies. The logo shirt looks great on my lovely wife, and that's the unvarnished truth...
