  • New addition to XS-XJ family

Just purchased an '82 Maxim 1100 and am in the middle of performing some maintenance/ polishing to get it up and running. I live in southeast Idaho and belong to CMA and Blue Knights. Have an add in "parts wanted" for a used gas tank- any help appreciated! THX

        Pocatello

        Churb,

I lived in Pocatello from '74 to '80. As I remember, the summers were great with three months of blue skies. Have you ever heard of the Easter Idaho Sports Car Club? I lived on Sandpiper and played a lot of pool at the Corner Pocket.

        Good luck,

            Blue Knights

            wpc57:
The Blue Knights are an International group of Law Enforcement motorcyclists. I'm a Senior Probation Agent for the State of Idaho and a former Pocatello Police Officer, so I was able to obtain membership.

Good to hear from a former Pocatellan. We moved here from Pittsburgh in '77 and have loved it since. A good friend of mine also lives in Nashville. After his tour in the Army he settled there and seems to like it.

Looking forward to getting the XJ11 up and running. Most of my previous scooters have been V-twin cruisers (Virago's, Shadows and a Sporty). Will be nice to have a big cc, power in-line again.

The Golden Knights are the US Army's parachute precision team

The Blue Angels are the US Navy's flight team F/A 18 pilots

The Blue Knights are LEO m/c club

I don't know of another Blue Knight, anyone else?

Churb, do you, or anyone you know, do patches?

                Patches

One of the Knights has/had an embroider machine that we used to make our back patch for our chapter.
