I hope you have a happy birthday Andrew. Hope to ride again with you soon.

Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.
You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

If I can make at least one person smile, or pee their pants a little, or maybe spit out their drink; then my day is not wasted.
Well thanks everyone.
As you all know I havn't been around lately. I am sure you all were glad to get rid of me for a while. In case you were wondering, I have been on a container ship going from CA to Japan and Korea. It has a 9 cyl slow speed diesel. The prop is direct drive from the engine. The engine is about 49000BHP. Thats power is at around 100rpm. At that RPM, we do about 25knots. It is really interesting work. I have been doing everything from welding pipe to replacing fuel pumps on the main engine. Working on these bikes back home has really helped me out at sea. Its interesting working in the engine room with 15degree rolls. Well, thanks again everyone. I have to get back to the ship. I will hopefully write in next month.

"What are you rebelling against", "Well, what do you got?"

Yep, thats it. I got to crawl around the crank case a few times. We did a set of injectors the other day. 3 injectors per cyl and they wat about 30lbs each. good stuff

Been there, done that. It is pretty cool being inside of the engine. It gives a whole new perspective. I have one of those injector nozzles sitting on my desk. Makes a great paperweight and pen/pencil holder. Also makes a great conversation piece.
