Maybe i'm just slow or just stupid but I have not been able to put these letters together to figure these out and i'm sick of not knowing.

SWMBO= She who must be obeyed, generally a reference to one's spouse.

PO = Previous Owner, an unscrupulous and inept mechanic who generally tortured your machine before you could rescue it.

    I hope this helps.

        bigray03:

SWMBO comes from an English writer, Sir John Mortimer, himself a barrister that wrote about "Rumple of the Bailey", an old barrister found of cheap wine and ethical treatment of all that are called before the bar. There were a series of serials played on the Public TV channels a few years back and a set of books that are highly entertaining that can be found in most libraries.

        From Wikipedia
"he often quotes Wordsworth and secretly calls his wife Hilda "She Who Must Be Obeyed" (SWMBO), a reference to the novel She by H. Rider Haggard.[1]"
