        Hi Mason,
prom's link shows the stock tool kits just fine. And that ain't lazy, that's helpful.
Let me add that apart from the plastic mid & final drive dipstick and that admission of designer stupidity, a wire thingy to hold the swingarm up to get the Standard's rear wheel out, the main function of the mfr's toolkit is to be a guide to selecting proper wrenches & drivers that will actually work rather than bend out of shape when you reef on them.
Mind you, decent wrenches wouldn't fit in the little pouch, eh?

i figured yamaha looked into sizing the right tools to do the most common things on these bike, and while on the road, these would work in a pinch and not to replace better handling tools used to do maintenance in the comfort of a designated workplace although the side of the road can be a workplace if you zen into it.

my kit is missing pliers, one open wrench, one box, the screwdriver set and thats it

what parts are the allen wrenches for?

The two allen sizes are for the case bolts, and the larger one for the fill bolts on the middle and final drives.

some pics show 4 allen wrenches, since they are small is there other parts that uses a differnent size that you think i could include in the emergency kit? it's gotta fit the bag and box.

                Hey Mason,

The handlebar clamps IIRC are a bit larger than the side covers, but smaller than the middle/final drive oil caps. Also, check the exhaust nuts, that's about all I can think of that are different than the case bolts!?
                T.C.

PS, I used the screwdriver handle as a handle for the allen wrenches, provide a little bit more leverage and easier on fingers/hands than the raw wrenches themselves!

                  Yo Allen

Handlebar clamps are 6mm, same as the mid/final oil caps. I'm 99.9% sure that 5mm & 6mm are the only Allen sizes on our bikes (not including any farings).

thanks guys, i had an exhaust gasket leak once, TC that's what you meant by exhaust nut right? and needed an 8mm, but had to wait till i got home, the allen's on the fork brace are small i don't think i would need one on the road tho, unless a crash took out the fork's alignment, heck they are tiny and would fit anyhow, i just wanted to see how yamaha was thinking, i'm missing the 27 mm box this is very important to get the rear axle off, pm'd andreas unless some has an extra? missing the whole screwdriver combo and pliers as well other wise cable and all good to go.
